we build shared futures

listening.

We start by listening to community. Through our partnership with C3 Consensus and Amoofy we leverage man’s oldest technology - storytelling - to reveal insights and wisdom from the communities we build with working closely with social researchers, ethnographers artists, designers and engineers. We capture wisdom and lived experience by listening to the lived experience of humans and translating that into accessible collective intelligence leveraging AI.

world building.

Listening deeply allows our communities to define their “story of place.” This becomes foundational research as we leverage our “world building” methodology - combining rigorous research and creative imagination to co-create shared futures. We help translate these future into prototypes, and then scaffolding that becomes social infrastructure. By identifying key assets critical to the success of that shared future we understand the stepping stones that will get us there.

art + tech + culture.

Fundamental to our work is the creative culture we surround our work in. Culture is the social fabric that weaves and holds the shared futures of a community together.  Tailored immersive experiences allow us to nurture and build relationships and trust attracting the long term participation by members, partners and investors.

Our legacy includes over a decade working closely with Allegra Fuller Snyder- dancer, choreographer and daughter of the infamous inventor, scientist and architect Buckminster Fuller, as well as many of Bucky’s former colleagues as a Board Member of the Buckminster Fuller Institute.

future architecture

As a future architecture studio we imagine new ways of being that become grounded in reality. We build scaffolding that becomes infrastructure for systems change - collaboratively and in partnership with stakeholders from the communities we work with.

We have worked with communities around the world, from high tech and capital intensive settings in San Francisco and New York, marginalized communities like those on the east side of Kansas City, as well as working along side some of the poorest communities in Latin America and India. Learning from 25+ years experience we employ “future architecture” to reimagine and build ecosystems appropriate for the 21st century....We have worked with universities and institutions, with impact investors and family offices, companies and startups. We’ve been in their shoes.

…from re-imagining a marginalizes neighborhood 20’s years into the future with local leaders using a process called “world building;” to co-developing the the largest and longest global gathering of investors and entrepreneurs in the impact investing space - the Social Capital Markets Conference (SOCAP); from developing tools for capturing thousands of stories and narrative intelligence for communities and businesses leveraging AI; to imagining and develop global infrastructure like The Lumisphere Experience - three interconnected geodesic domes where media projections, surround sound and AI interactive storytelling are integrated into a public immersive experience aiming to reach 1 billion people.

Inspired by Buckminster Fuller - here his Geodesic dome for the 1967 World Expo in Montreal that symbolized futuristic, sustainable design. His structures championed efficiency and "doing more with less," .
